Donna Arthur began her career in the hospitality industry in 1998 as a housekeeper. She subsequently joined Navroz as part of the Howard Johnson team. Within two years of joinng Navroz at the Howard Johnson, Donna had moved up to assistant head housekeeper. In 2005, Donna transfered to the Sleep Inn & Suites Ocala as head housekeeper and within two months thereafter, Donna became the General Manager of Sleep Inn Ocala. Donna is HDG hotels' longest tenured leader. Under her leadership, the Sleep Inn has consistently been ranked within the top 5% of the entire 362 hotel Sleep Inn brand. Her ability to effectively motivate and patiently train and retrain her team members has resulted in minimal employee turnover along with a hotel that consistently exceeds its market share in occupany and revenue generated per available room.
